MALLORCA: PALMA, SOLLER AND VALLDEMOSSA

After visiting Mallorca some weeks ago, I would like to show some pictures of the fantastic days we spent in this fantastic island in Spain. I really liked the old city of Palma de Mallorca, the lovely villages of Port de Sóller, Deià and Valldemossa (the bus L210 goes from Port de Sóller to Palma de Mallorca stopping in Sóller, Deià and Valldemossa).

Hi
Is it easy to travel on public transport from valledemossa and where do you think the best places to visit are?
Is the train you have in your photo an expensive way to travel?

Hello Gill,

I think it's not easy to travel on public transport from Valldemossa because there is only one bus line (L210). This line begins in Port de Sóller, ends in Palma de Mallorca and stops in Deià and Valldemossa.

The train you saw in some pictures goes from Palma de Mallorca to Sóller and this journey costs 12,50€ (2014). I just picked it up for the outward journey because, from Sóller, I went to Deià and Palma de Mallorca by Bus. I think that it's worth taking this vintage train at least once.
